Very nice.

Here is a slightly over-exposed photo of mine:

What are you feeding yours, and how are you feeding them? I am thinking about putting mine in a bowl to feed.

I feed them a combination of mysis, brine and DT's Phytoplankton with a turkey baster. Key is to feed as many individual polyps as possible. The most common reason they don't survive is that their keepers don't have the patience to hand feed.

For a few weeks I put a transparent cup (Slushie?), with a hole drilled in the top, over it the entire Sun polyp. I would then shoot and shot food in the whole and to stir it up every few minutes. Now it extends after it gets a whiff of the food mix.

Nano,

Thanks for the info. I have been alternating between mysis and blood worms. We have a reef club meeting on Sunday, on I will pick up some DT's. I also need to look for a long turkey baster or syringe that will reach the bottom of the tank. When I finally get my 120g up and running, I plan to put this specimen higher in the tank to make it easier to feed.

Those are some real nice colonies. They are one of my favorite corals that I have. I hand feed mine cyclopeez also with some of the DT oyster eggs, they love em.

cmholliis, Here is the perfect tool to feed your coral. I have it and it is great, you can extend it so that you can reach the bottom of your tank with ease.

I picked up that Kent Marine SeaSquirt that bradleyj recommended above, used it for the first time tonight, it works great.

As far as feeding, I alternate between Mysis and Bloodworms, and usually feed at least 5 times a week.

Got one of these sun coral (known as Super Sun Coral here) recently. These are not the normal sun coral but a bigger cousin and typical heads size are > 1cm with some > 1.5cm. Can't seem to find any infos on them.
