Bubbles from the riser of my Euroreef

Did a biggish water change last night, changed the filter sock and cleaned the skimmer cup, only to notice a large number of small bubbles coming out of the riser shortly after. The body of the skimmer is still full of bubbles, but they don't usually overspill like this.

Does anyone have ideas what's happening?

Tom

Thanks Outy, that's very reassuring!

Apologies for the delay in replying - no internet at home.
