Post Current SC Gas Prices

There is a website devoted to keeping current gas prices for every city in South Carolina. The system works by having regular everyday people like you and me post up-to-date gas station prices. You would be suprised at how many people use the system. The goal of the site is to help promote the gas stations that charge the least amount, while trying to hurt the stations that charge the most by not going to them. Enjoy!

i always go to the cheapest place that sells gas. and i let everyone know about it too. it's great to go buy a place that sells gas 10cents sometimes higher not have any buisness (sp)

that's a great website i'll pass it along.

IMO ppl look for the cheep gas from the get go and know the basic gas price befor they ever put that nozel in their tank. so the effect of the more expencive stations getting less bisness is only natural due to the Law of Demand. thanks for the site though. intresting to see what prices are like in other parts of the state.

These gas prices are ridiculous. We don't get that much oil from Louisiana. I can't stand it when businesses take advantage of a horrible situation. There's not much we can do about it though. I wish I still had my motorcycle. That was stupid cheap to fill up.

Most of the people I know go to the cheapest of the most convenient. I only pass one station to and from work and go there knowing full well that they're more expensive. Usually only 2 cents more which comes out to .34 more a tank. No big whoop. I bought gas just before the price jump. Now it's $9 more a tank 2 days later. That's a big deal. I also have to buy premium!

The pumps in Louisiana are not the only ones having problems. The ones in Mississippi and other close areas are also down. Colonial Pipeline supplies 80% of the East Coast's gas (out of Mississippi). They turned off their pumps before the storm and when they went to turn them back on, the National Guard confiscated their generators for other uses. They finally got their lines running again yesterday, but they are only pumping at 50%. That makes much more of a difference than you would think. That means the East Coast is getting supplied at least 40% less than we used to. I think if we just wait it out, in another week or so they will slowly start to come back down....

i clearly under stand that refineries being shut down will make gas prices shoot up realy quick, but this state ment doesn't make any sence( not hat it's untrue). gas prices will shoot up nickels and dimes at a time but comes back down pennies at a time. it doesn't make any sence why this is. there is probly some really logical reason behind it but i don't see it. any way looks like i'm going to be selling my car so that i can buy a Horse, or a Came, cheeper to feed thows than fill up my gas tank.

Just a quick sidenote but don't you think PETA would love it if everyone in america started useing horse drawn carts again?

Saw $3.19 on Coleman this morning $3.29 at Ladson and Midland Parkway

Then saw $3.15 on Ladson at the Citgo.

I Bought Gas Tuesday for $2.99 out on I-26 at Hess way out before 95. Funny thing, the Gas Station at the Bowman Exit was $3.19 that morning and $2.99 on the way back at 4:30 LOL

Whatever, the other was 2.99 all day, I'm stopping there tomorrow on the way back from Blythewood, SC and getting gas again. Cheap gas is good gas at 32 MPG!!

I've been riding my bike a lot since I got it fixed and it hasn't been raining.

Oh I've also been hearing that Scooter and Moped Sales have surpassed Motorcycles sales in the last month for the first time in history. Not sure if that's a rumor or a fact, but it doesn't surprise me. If I lived closer to work, I'd drive one.

It's about time that the gov steps in to do something. I've been saying it all along. It's crazy that gas prices keep going up while oil companies post record profits.
