Black spots on clowns

I just came back home and saw couple of black spots on the clowns. From the reading it looks like tangs are the one who usually get this "black spot" disease, but can anyone suggest what is the best way to treat. Also from the pictures on the web the spots on the tang are multiple and much smaller. My clowns have 2-3 dots that are really black and much bigger than the ones I saw on the web.
Some people suggested that maybe this is the pigmentation from zoos, or maybe they are going through the sexing process.
Any ideas

Most reports of this are a response to irritation from invertebrates. LPS, SPS, etc., can all apparently trigger such melanism.
