Smile He did it!

My 3 month old found his feet yesterday! He actually spotted them about a month ago, but has since rediscovered them. He giggles when I tickle him too. I can't remember being this giddy for this long over something, except when I got married. I still get butterflies thinking about my hubby.

crzy4reefs, how's your little one doing?

mine discoverd his nose yesterday......he turned 1 month yesterday. he makes cooing (SP) noises and he likes to try to stand up while we hold him under his arms. we are basically keeping his balance. he turns his head when we talk to him. he's doing so good. i don't know if he's discoverd his feet and hands he does try to suck his thumb which is cute and much better than trying to suck the dogs nose lol.

i find my self giddy over things he does too it's amazing.

The dog's nose?! That's so funny!

It's going to be funny when Dustin starts walking and chasing our cats. Dad wants to buy a 150g, either for more fish, or to teach Dustin how to swim.

aww shucks. I bet you say that to all the dads.

(blush)

Seriously though - dont let these times slide by.... Throw yourself into it, soak it all in, and take those pictures.

We made recordings of her giggling too. Its a riot, and I have yet to see anyone not break into a face splitting grin when they hear it.

Great growth progression pictures. What kind of lighting are you using?

I can't miss a moment of him. That's why I quit my job at the first of the year. I've been with him every day since he was born. And the novelty hasn't worn off. I take pics with the digital, 35mm, and camcorder. As soon as I figure out how to post some pics, I will. My IT hubby hasn't shown me yet.

yeah i quit my job also so i can spend a yr or so with him. i love all the time i have with him i think that's why i like nursing him it's a real special bonding time we have with eachother. i've taken lots of pictures. and he's only 1 month old but has changed so much. and that's a good idea recording their giggles he's starting to make laughing noises now and other things he just amazes me everyday.

Shall we talk about the teenage years now? They do grow up fast so enjoy them, it's some of the best time with them.

We decided to put her in day-care 2 days a week. Since she is an only child so far, we thought she could use the social skills exposure. And Mom can work part time to get her out of the house, which she likes too.

The rest of the week, she is home with mom.

ohh zack gets to spend time not with us either with his aunt and uncle or his granparents. but my schedule is with him during the day he's with me while dad is at work, when he gets home he takes over for a few hours while i get things done or just want to go out by myself. then he's mine for the night. in a few more months i might go back to my old job on the weekends. but taking care of my zoo and a child and a husband doesn't leave much time to do anything else. but as zack gets older things should get a little easier i sure hope so. and by the way steve what a beautiful daughter

I've considered that, but later down the road, of course.

Shanna, Zack is quite the little cutie pie! But that doesn't look like the Ocean Wonders Aquarium bouncy chair. Why not?

We got the Ocean Wonders bouncy chair and swing, like there's not enough fish in my house now. It just happened to be the ones we liked best and got good reviews as far as baby stuff goes.

The time sure does fly, my oldest is already 4 1/2 and my youngest is 1 1/2. We're getting a new camera since I broke the old one trying to get a shot of them together. On the discovery side, I think the most painful discovery they both made was when they were around 9 months it was their, um... bits and pieces. They both discovered theirs in the same exact way, in the tub. You know how babies don't let go right away especially when they are scared and their grip only gets tighter, well they both ended up tugging on their parts, found out your not supposed to pull that hard on it and started crying, they didn't let go and it made matters worse. Fun times, ugh. Now that I think of it, many of the funny, and not so funny, instances we've had with those two were parts related, what is it with guys and their parts?

Now our youngest loves to imitate our older one, so he tries to brush his teeth, the few that he has, and his hair. We put goop in our older sons hair since he has a cowlick. So now whenever our little one finds any thing wet, any thing, he pats it on his hair and then rubs it in real good and walks off. The animals just love his hair, lol.

Not that long ago I was changing the cat litter and I had left the litter bucket alone for a few min. I came back to put it away and there was our little guy playin in the sand. It was everywhere. One of our cats was over there raking it up like crazy. I was upset when I saw the mess but got over it and couldn't stop laughing when I saw that cat raking it up as fast as he could. He's the one who also comes in right after our other cat has done his stinky business and rakes more sand over it as if to say "Man your stuff stinks!" When he's done, all of the litter sand has been raked over the dumpsite. Kids and animals do some funny stuff.
