Great tanks guys Can I just use a razor blade to scrape the blue background off? Its not setup so it should be easy? I will be using Krylon indoor outdoor flat black enamel spray paint.

Morten....My current tank is 18 months old...but, the inhabitants came from my previous tank that was 30 months old before the upgrade. Most things in my tank were grown from frags or small colonies.

Black backgrounds always make the coral colors pop...blue blackgrounds just blend in with everything. I think some people think that the blue looks more like ocean water...IMO...they are mistaken.
I couldn't agree more

Bill, just beginning to stock my tank, but here's a shot to show you the background I did with what you are going to use—Krylon indoor/outdoor flat black enamel spray paint. It's always bothered me that it's a much duller black than my black acrylic overflow box, and if I had to do it over I would use glossy black which I think would have matched the acrylic overflow box better...
