Rica,
That's because Photopoint no longer exists.

What a bummer. I guess I have been extremely lucky. i bought one LOA fixture from Home Depot 14 months ago and it is still running like a champ. I have it in my cabinet over my refugium. It is one of those outdoor ones wiht the light sensor thingy. I have changes the bulbs only once, at about the 9 month mark. I have read a number of threads about people having difficulty with these lights. Others vent them etc. I have done nothing. Maybe you should call it a day and get some PC lighting you clearly have had the worst luck with this brand.

I have one of the indoor worklights that is hitting the 2 month mark(OH SH*T, I forgot to post the "Can LOA PC grow SPS" thread like 2 weeks already)
I pulled the plastic and drilled 4 holes into the ballast compartment so I could face the light down. It seems to run not unreasonably warm. I think it is going to last for a while. It runs for about 12 hours every day on a timer. |

My 65 watt loa light burned up after 2 months. I took it back to home depot and got a new one. maybe the new one will last. I'll try drilling vents and cooling it this time.

I bought a total of four 65 watt LOA fixtures. Two have been running for a bit over a year, one burned out when I was trying to change the bulb with it still plugged in, and one just fried.
So I suppose out of four fixtures only one died prematurely. puff |

That's strange I've had two of these fixtures work perfectly for about 2 years. I replace the bulbs about every 9-12 months.

Yeah, it jsut depends on the situation. Three of my 'worklights'
have been functioning flawlessly since their inception. |
