Unknown softy I.d?

Bought from LFS as unknown as it came in a shipment of other softies. It's about 2 inches across sitting on a white short stalk made up of tiny polyps with slightly longer tentacles giving it a prickly look

Looking at the tiny holes, it looks like some sort of sponge to me.

How does it feel like? Does it excete slime? Corals normally can excrete mucus on its surface.

No the segments you see are actually seperate 'tufts',the tiny holes are actually small polyps and it acts like most softies i.e points on it's stalk in different directions
