Local fish stores for a visitor?

I plan on travelling to Tampa on June 15th from the Northern Virginia area and would like to visit some good local fish stores. Can anyone recommend any to visit? Maybe take a friend home for my tank?

Thanks

welcome to tampa mmcaleer im sure you will enjoy your stay here but the only bad thing about tampa is there is only one saltwater store in town and thats in oldsmar. http://www.ichthythings.com

you can find them at http://www.ichthythings.com/ichthy.htm

if you are looking for a all day outing you can check out the local stores list that tampabay reef club put together.

http://www.tampabayreef.com/localstores.html but i myself will only shop at 1 store and that fish and other ichthy stuff and when you go in there you will see why.

enjoy

todd

I for one have never had such a perfect experience every time I go to see the Fish Nazi at Fish and Other Ichthy Stuff. He has the best fish I have ever seen and the best selection of corals around. He will not treat you wrong, if he doesnt like the way a fish or coral looks, he wont sell it. And he is always expanding his drygoods everytime I go in his store. He now carries chillers and calcium reactors as well. His staff is the best team I have ever come across, there hasnt been a answer to a question that couldnt get answered.

Basically, if you go anywhere else, your going to probably regret it later on.

Just my 25 cents worth...
