Best zoo stores?

Greetings,

Well, my wife is off shopping for shoes... so I thought I'd go shopping for zoos - but I am having a difficult time finding what I want on-line in a WYSIWYG format. I did check out Blane Perun's but many of the beautiful items shown are not in stock. I also looked at eBay, but I am leery of going that route.

Any other suggestions? What are your favorite sources for on-line acquisition of Zoanthids?

Thanks,

Larry

I like www.eastcoastclams.com and Rob's site is truly WYSIWYG.
www.phishybusiness.com is also good when he has them.
If you can get a hold of Larry (zepplin) at www.zoosrus.com he may be your best bet right now if you want something rare or unusual. He gets some really neat stuff and his frags are always nice healthy chunks! Great guy to deal with and he usually keeps a pretty good selection.
Good luck!

This has been a wonderful thread -for me. I now have a great list of on-line stores.

While I am sure there are many good folks on the above lists, I just want to give two thumbs up to
Anthony at http://www.aquadesignz.com
and to Roy at http://www.megazoos.com
They have great web sites - easy to navigate and easy to see what you are buying, and they are good guys to deal with.

Thanks once again,

Larry

I apologize for my ignorance, but what the h@## does WYSIWYG mean. I have seen it before in various places but never explained.

It's an excellent question. WYSIWYG stands for "What You See Is What You Get," and indicates that the picture shown is the actual item - not a representative item of the type you are interested in.

Ya its the best way to buy live animals online IMO. Its alot more work for the seller than just putting up a picture of blue zoas and saying "blue zoas - 30 bucks", but its definately the way to go.
