Need ID Please

Can anyone ID this for me. It looks like a spongey matt, when its not expanded. It came with the rock.

looks like Briareum, an encrusting gorgonian.

yup, some experts put Briareum (atlantic) in the
same family as Pachyclavularia (GSP, pacific).

Yeah, when I got the rock maybe 3 years ago it was as big as a quarter. It hasn't grown real fast but it has spread. It’s beside my anemone so it only comes out on one side of the rock. It is pretty cool looking though.
