E. Borneman article links

Among the million things that you are asked to do, could you please post a list of links to the articles that you have on the WWW, similar to what RH Farley has done? TIA.

Most of his articles can be found in the archives of Reef Keeping Mag and Advanced Aquarist.

Here's a start to the list. Feel free to add to it but I wouldn't ask Eric to do it since the articles are easy to find. There may be some older, more obscure articles out there that I don't know about though.

Reef Keeping 2002

The Coral Health and Disease Consortium

Need Help! Coral ID? Part I. Taxonomy of Stony Corals

Taxonomy in the Reef Aquarium: A Simplified Guide to Basic Level Identification

And yet Do You Know Where Your Corals Are Coming From? does not show up as any of the articles that y'all listed, or on the Advance Aquarist link list for E. Borneman, or if you search reefs.org library with the exact title for the article. I've finally learned, after several attempts searching with google, to string Borneman AND Jakarta to find a link to that article. And I could ONLY find it because I knew it existed and what the content was. So what good is that, to someone coming to this board, perhaps for the first time, who hasn't been reading Reefkeeping and Advanced Aquarist for years?

You have to remember, everybody starts off - at some point - feeling about for the shreds of quality info in this hobby, amidst an ocean of bullcrap and misinformation. I wasn't, necessarily, asking for myself, you see. Although I'm sure that I'd refer to a complete list of Eric's articles, if one existed. I know that I use Randy's list, and refer others to it. I'd like to see a complete list of Eric's articles, and other quality on-line articles relating to coral, pegged permanently at the top of this board. It was just an idea, and IMO would be a benefit to many people, especially those people who need the info the most, and don't where or how to find it.

BTW thanks for the links that were provided, there were a couple in there that I hadn't read yet!

Regards,

Piercho-

I knew you know where to find all those articles. I was just trying to hint that maybe if we helped compile the links that Eric would then stick the list at the top of the forum. Then it would be an easier job for him to tell us what things we missed.

I'd be happy to sticky this thread...I'll clean it up a bit, so apologies in advance if any of your helpful posts get edited or deleted in order to make a "neat and tidy" sticky.

Hi Gang,

Advanced Aquarist has put out 20 issues so far and each of them has a lot of articles in it.

That's why we have a special search engine for the Magazine at:

http://www.advancedaquarist.com/search.htm

You can get there from the magazine homepage.

I entered Eric Borneman in the search engine and found his "Where Do Your Corals Come From?" Feature Article as #19

For those of you who haven't tried the search feature for Advanced Aquarist, you might find it to be a useful tool. It pulls up part of the article text so you can see if it's what you're looking for.

Cheers
James

OPPPPs my last post mentions two articles with the link too Aquarium frontiers.
This is also stored at James's reefs org I forgot about that when I posted and its too late to delete that last post with that link now.

I think nearly all free available internet articles by Eric are in all the above links.

This one may not be in the links above there is so much available on Eric articles and talks and disscussions it just takes a bit of time searching.

The aquarium frontiers site has been down for some time so KevD aquired the articles and organized them here:
