Water sensor equipment

I have been having problems with my tank overflowing as a result of my auto topoff system. I currently have 4 float valves that turn on or off the system when the water is too low/too high. It seems that every time I think I have eliminated the chance of a flood, I find yet another way for things to break.

Right now I have the following valves in place:

1 - turn ON pump from reservoir when sump level gets too low (evaporation)
2 - Turn OFF pump from reservoir if sump level gets too high (if the first valve gets stuck or something
3 - Turn OFF pump from reservoir if water level in HOB overflow primary box gets too high
4 - Turn OFF pump from reservoir if water level in HOB overflow drain gets too high (sometimes caused by filter media getting clogged)

I am looking for a water sensor that will alert me when water is detected on my floor. Ideally this will have an audible alarm as well as wireless connectivity for sending alerts.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a system to monitor this?

Also, any recommendations on my setup would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Josh

Ironically I just had lunch today with a heating and air man and we got on the subject of a detection/warning system that exist for when an air conditioner drain line overflows or gets clogged. There is a device that is connected in the electrical line. It is placed on the ground underneath the AC unit. When water hits it, this completes the circuit causing an alarm and disconnecting power to the unit so it will stop overflowing. He said you could pick one of these things up at a local place so I bet you could locate one of these controls through a heating and air contractor or a local supply store that carries merchandise like this. Might work, never know. I don't know what price it is. Didn't sound like it would be expensive.

There are also devices for turning off lawn sprinkler systems when it rains, might come closer to what you are looking for if what you want is to shut off the power vs turning on an alarm. Dunno much about them, google "rain sensor".

if your top off system is wreaking havoc, i highly reccomend redoing the system. what happens if your top off acts up when you are on vacation?

you may want to look into the tunze osmolator. pretty much foolproof, imo.
