1 of 2 overflows no overflowing

I just set up my tank and one of the overflows is not woking all that well. It is pulling water in, but not a lot like the other one. The other one is about half way down the overflow box. The overflows that I have look like this This is not my set up, but very similar. Could it be that the PVC in the intake are not long enough (going downward)? I cut the airline tubing inside the Durso the same length, but I will doulbe check that. Any info that you all have, I would be interested to hear. Thanks

This may be dumb but is the tank level? Are the overflows on opposite sides?

Most likely, your tank is not level. Either that or perhaps your durso's are not the exact same height. the lower one might drain enough water that it is robbing the other drain of water.

The tank is perfectly level. I think the problem is that the one that is not flowing as much is drilled a touch higher. But the wierd part is that when I did a plug up test on the one that works, the other one did not take over. I may need to cut the teeth a little deeper on the one that is not working.

I found the problem. I was using 2 different air valves. The better valve was the one that was working right. I went to the tank and pushed down on the "lid" of the not so overflowing overflow, and it created the siphon. So I switched it to the same kind of valve as the working aone, and WOOP, THERE IT IS!!! Thanks for the other suggestions though.
