pulse coral predator needed!!
hi guys my sps/lps system is plauged by red sea pulse coral...its smothering all my sps and driving me mad!
there is to much to cut out, i really need a predator that will consume the pulse but leave my sps and lps, does such an animal exsist? please help its getting to the point were i'm consudering breaking all the rock work down and removing it and adding new rock which i really dont want to do. thanks. |

There are plenty of Xenia eating nudibranchs. Unfortunately they aren't typically available in the hobby unless they hitchhike in by accident.

Get in there and rip it up by the base - don't cut it, it will just grow back thicker. Get a fingernail or something under the edge and tear it out. Then frag it and sell it to your lfs for store credit. I purchased a 200 gal. Oceanic stand with store credit from xenia frags back in 2002.

lol if i could i would, but i cant get to a large chunk of the area where it is due to the size of some of my acro's! i really need a predator of some type, i think most fish that would consume it would prob chomp my lps too
