What bulb

Just purchased a new light 3 x250 with 10000k double ended i dont like the white too intense was wondering what 20000k bulb you guys & gals would recomend was loking at megachrome what do think. Thanks

Don't look at my user name. I got it many years ago. I used megachrome for some years now. I used the 20K , the 10K, the 13K and never found my corals growing as fast as when I changed my bulbs for Phoenix 14K two months ago. Also, my corals got way bluer with those bulbs.

There are many threads out there claiming the phoenix is very good value. 2X cheaper than megachrome.

Finally, if you are looking for a deep blue see, better look at something like XM.

The light i purchased came with ballast its a coralife pro unit . I had them in the past dont know what they run for ballast.

I also have used xm, ushio, didnt like either bulb.
