My new baby

Just thought I'd share a few pics of my new favorite fish! He's about 6" long almost, and within a minute of being in the tank, he was already getting cleaned all over by the shrimp! Already eating mysis, seems to be in great health, can't wait until he becomes more used to the tank and me, and starts grunting!

Getting cleaned by the shrimp!

Mike, Yeah, I couldn't wait to have a juvi go thru the color changes and found this gorgeous one at a decent price. Have you started seeing any yellow forming on your emperor?

Shnabbles, believe it not, I got him at green bank aquarium, not my favorite place to shop, but the fish is amazing at a decent price, I wouldn't say affordable though haha, but that's how this hobby is.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

I could help you finance the rest of the fish, if you would come off that 360. :-)

Joe, I was considering getting rid of the 360 just because I don't know when I'll be able to set it up.

Mike, he'll start changing soon enough, you just realize it one day, the yellow in the top and back fins. Ha, those tanks are never going up, they've been there empty for years. He said it will be awhile before there up.

Ken, yeah I was amazed how quick the cleaner went to work. How's the 75g?

Oh the 75 will be for later. i haven't even taken any rock out of the old 75 yet to cure in the dark and rid that algae. it will take some time. no hurry. I could use the stand as is if i set it up in a spare bedroom to hold the re-cured rock. then when all done start a new 120 RR.

Do you mind if I ask how much is decent?

Was Bill there? I haven't made it there in a while.

Ken, yeah, should be a fun project. I can't wait to see when you have the 120 up and running. I still say go bigger!

Al, sending you a PM.
