Clams

My new T5 fixture arrives on thursday and I was wondering what my options are for clams and corals. I have a 55 so Its not that tall. The light has individual reflectors and six 54w bulbs. Ive seen a 90 with T5's in person and the clam was at the bottom and had thrived for well over a year. Any input?

I have a 180 with 12 T-5's. I have a clam and 40+ corals. You should be fine. Ohh by the way its 30 inches deep and the clam is on the sand bed, your lighting should be fine.

The clams will do wonderful under that setup you described. I am going to be upgrading to a 6 foot 12x54w T5 fixture in the near future. T5s are the wave of the future.

I know! I am so excited! Ha ha who thought lights could do that to someone. I was torn between MH and T5's but I wanted to stay away from the heat and high energy costs of MH. So I went with T5's. Im sure I wont regret my decision (knock on wood!)

Any of them. Crocea, Maxima, Derasa, or Squamosa.
