Has Anyone ever ordered from Corals Plus Before?

I am looking for anyones experience if they have ever ordered from CoralsPlus.com before. Did you recieve everything? Did it show up alive? How was the experience in general? Would you order from them again?

Thanks
Jeremy

Well I played russian rulette and placed an order. It arrived today. I ordered 304.00 Worth of stuff from them. Here are my problems.......

2 shrimps not shipped but billed
1 goby not shipped but billed

all fish except 1 arrived dead. here is what arrived dead...

Blue hippo
yellow tang
royal gramma
2 stripe damsel
mated perc clown pair
1 perc clown
2 lyretail chromis
firefish

I ordered like 65 snails of different kinds too but I am not sure how they are doing yet though. The water temp of the bags when they arrived was 53 degrees. 2 heat packs in the makeshift styrofoam box.

OVERALL, PLEASE EVERYONE DON'T ORDER FROM THEM. THEY HAVE NO PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE WHEN IT COMES TO DEALING WITH EVERYDAY BUSINESS EITHER... I AM WAITING TO SEE HOW THEY HANDLE THIS..

I'm sorry to hear that.

Were you able to get ahold of the guy on the phone? Every time I attempted a phone call, his mom would answer.

Good luck, and keep us posted.

Well you guys near rochester have it made as far as GOOD LFS. I don't have any good fish stores anywhere near me. They are barely OK fish stores. I can get a few things local but I am almost forced to order online. Lesson learned though.. It was heart breaking to open that box and see all those dead fish.. POOR FISH..

I would recommend ordering from the following places. Reefermadness, Atlantis Aquarium, Frag Farmer, and Reefscience. All have top quality livestock and their customer service is amazing. I've done multiple orders with all of them and never had a problem. Sorry to hear about your shipment. Hopefully they handle it professionally.

I'll add RC sponsors www.reefhotspot.com and liveaquaria.com to that list.

All of my fish are from reefhotspot. Max is great to work with, prices are great and fish are healthy.

good links. it's so hard to believe some of the photos that people and places post. you think you're ordering some amazing purple or pink or neon coral and you receive a brown stick. you just don't know who to trust.

we have ordered from them about 3 times now. being in ohio it was pretty cheap shipping. we had some fish arrive wrong sized. one was much larger than expected and one was smaller. he credited us the difference on the fish being the wrong size. we also had a doa blenny which he credited and a starfish that never made it in the box. which was also credited. we ordered a second time a clean up crew. some arrived dead he sent out a new shipment the next day free of charge. we have gotten lucky with the customer service. we would of never gotten such custumer service with saltwaterfish.com for sure. I have heard some horror stories with him. we also had two foxfaces come that were suposed to be magnificents. he credited us 100% and let us keep the fish. of the fish that made it alive. all are still alive today. a hippo, naso, lawnmower blenny, etc. we just made a large order for their sale and we are shipping it all the way here to utah. we will see how things go!
