I have a 36" Outer orbit HQi MH system, 150watt bulb is 4 months old, its a 10000k reeflux which is very nice as it leans towards the blue edge of the spectrum. Its also backed up by two 96watt PC actinics. Very nice fixture comes with hanging kit and legs.

$200

Its 36 long by 15 wide. I know it might be a bit wide but I used it on my 30x12x18 tank, had to make a few alterations in that I installed a shelf support on each side of the fixture at the required height that I needed. It worked really well for the time I used this fixture and my only reason for selling is I have a bigger tank. The legs are a bit short and would only really work if your tank was deep, so the next best thing is to use shelving supports screwed into the wall or the hanging kit which it comes with.

I'll show you a pic and let you decide, I never had much hassle with the light spillage issue. Yes some actinic light is lost on the front and back but not much. The metal halide is centered giving the tank all over illumination, the actinics are on the edges. There is about an inch of room on each side of the actinic which is just the housing of the fixture which adds to the dimensions so I would guess you are looking at 34 x 13 of illumination area. I dont have a measuring tape so cant give you an exact measurement. Hope this helps. Pic to follow.

It has independent switches and plugs for the Halide and the Actinics and a seperate plug for the 4 Moonlights.
