I need some LR....

I know, FFJPayne was just getting rid of some and I missed out, that's my lifes story. Anyway.....Now that the 115 is done (are they ever really done though), we've decided to quit FW altogether and turn the 45 that we have into a FOWLR (nothing fancy). My Koran has been nipping at some corals and the yellow tang is being kind of goon as well. I know that a 45 is not optimum for those guys but it will have to do for now. Absolutely no money in the budget for another new setup now that we just bought a HUGE new TV. I set everything up today in the 45 but I don't have any LR for it. I plan to use some lace rock that I have but I really want to put some LR on top to help hide its ugliness. I know someone in town that normally has rock for $3.50 per lb but I'm hoping to find an even better deal than that (again, due to the aforementioned HUGE TV). Anyone got some or a line on some????

I would get lace rock and then set a piece of live rock in to seed the lace rock. It should have coralline on it in no time. Or you could just add it slowly or wait for someone to get out. I have given away sand and rock when I switched tanks, so that may be your best bet.

I have some base rock that I can bring to the Sunday meeting if you are interested. Some fairly large pieces, nice shapes.
