Also, if my Reef Cleaner Pack is going to be filled with a brittle star, we'd like to substitute it for another Pencil Urchin if possible. A serpent star is ok though.

Ok Folks the cut off for final orders is FRIDAY NIGHT and for those of you guys that have not paid I would do so asap cuz if it doesn't clear in time for the order to go out you will not be getting your stuff. Paypal will post same day as long as you do not do a E-check so you should be ok but no reason to prolong it. I will post the final order lists and who paid lists after I get home from the rock party as two of the boys going to pay me cash there. I do not know when it will arrive I can only guess it will be here around early afternoon. that's why I need the numbers to give ya'll a jingle when it gets here to come and get the stuff. Jonathan,

In the wild most snails and hermits live in the intertidal zone and get completely out of the water onto the rocks during low tide; this is one reason they are shipped with no water. The other is that usually snails and hermits are packed in dense numbers, therefore if held in a bag with a small amount of water the waste from the animals would cause high levels of ammonia resulting in deaths. Due to their intertidal nature, the problem solves itself

The only exceptions to this rule are scarlet hermits and some conch snails. All wholesale/retail suppliers ship this way and have been doing so for years; it is a proven method. I will be getting the invoice together shortly.

So my only question would be...what's the proper acclimation procedure for stuff shipped like that?

Actually...what's the best way to acclimate all this stuff? I mean, that's a lot of livestock I'll be adding at once. Think I can get away with just throwing everything in a tub (mixing the water from the bags) and then just drip, or what?
