ID anyone?

this first coral i have had for a while and never had any idea what it is- its finally started growing like a wild fire and i wouldnt mind knowing what it is.


this next one started growing on my LR about a year after it was in my tank- not sure where it came from, but its spreading like a carpet and quickly as well

top looks like a leather or toadstool...
bottom looks like galaxia...does the bottom put out sweepers?
just a guess...any other pics???

yeah- the bottom one has little sweepers, maybe 1/4 inch at this point- maybe less. the top one is a brittle skeleton covered in those little tentacles. it fell in between rocks in the summer and half of it died (leaving a bleached skeleton), but has come back with a vengeance in the last few months. Its hard for me to get any better pics as they are at the center and back of my tank.

Yeah Pavona was the first thing that came to my mind. Both of them look like different types of it.

Top one looks like a type of Pavona and the bottom one might be an encrusting Hydnophora.
