80+ polyp PPE mother colony

I have decided to sell my mother colony of ppes. Mostly because I want more room for other corals. The colony has over 80 polyps and is on a rock that is ~6x6". The price is $2000, plus shipping. I realize that this is probably about the going price per polyp and doesn't represent a "quantity" break. But hey...How often does a colony of ppes like this come along? I'm guessing there aren't too many available.

Here are some recent pics with various lighting/camera settings:

It's the colony on the right in this photo:

Do you have lineage back to Blane? Not that I doubt it's the real deal, but at this price I think lineage is a must.

some of the polyps in the pics don't look right.....

I have been growing this rock of ppes for 3 1/2 years. I'm positive there are no nudis or spiders on my ppes. In a colony of 80 polyps a few are usually closed. It is also common for them to close for a day or two and when they reopen their skirts appear brighter.

Would you consider a partial trade & cash or splitting up the colony? It looks really nice & is about the size of my nuclear green colony.

I don't want to get into splitting the colony.

I may consider partial trades. I'm not very interested in zoos or paly trades. Probably mostly interested in acan trades at this point.

Nope...no lineage. Just had a thought...wonder if Blane would be interested this colony? Then he could turn around and sell them for $50 a polyp with a receipt saying where you spent twice as much.

I have been keeping and occasionally selling ppes for 3 1/2 years....no one has doubted that these are PPEs. These PPEs look like the ones in the pictures above...because it is the rock in the picture that I am selling. You'll even notice a couple of them opened in the classic PPE pose.

This is not a thread for discussion

Do not post in this forum to bump threads, comment on the condition of an item offered, dispute value, or whether or not you feel something is identified by its trade name correctly.
This forum is for selling, not discussion. It is up to the buyer to determine if these 80 polyps are worth 2000.00

This is the second time I have had to remove post from this thread, if you are not interested in making a purchase keep your thoughts to yourself. If you want to start a discussion do so in the appropriate forum.

I run a single 250 phoenix and t5 actinics. These are at the bottom in the front...I would say they are getting mid range intensity from the 250.

If you're willing to negotiate the price a little bit, please send me a PM.

Thanks.
