Phosban and carbon reactors: rec needed

I'm looking for 2 reactors. 1 for Phosban and 1 for carbon. If possible I'd like to link them together so I only need one powerhead to feed them both.

Any recommendations?

I use two Precision Marine reactors, they are very well made. They are not cheap though. Even the smallest one is large enough to run carbon and phosban at the same time if you want. I purchased mine from Premium Aquatics.

I use two Phosban reactors for carbon and Rowaphos with one pump. I run a Y fitting since each reactor needs a different water flow. You can run the one after another with one pump. If so, I would run the carbon reactor into the PO4 remover reactor. Carbon can leach out PO4.

For the price, it's tough to beat the Phosoban 150 reactors. You could run one MJ1200 and 'T' off between the two phosoban inputs and control one with the included valve. The Phosoban should barely dance, while the carbon can recieve the balance of flow.

I prefer to keep seperate reactors for each media vs. putting both in one reactor.

I wouldn't trust the reactors externally though, I would hang them inside the sump if you have room for them.

Has anyone tried the AquaC reactors? Are they still for sale?

I heard the Aqua C's have a tendancy to leak. I also hate the Kent reactor with the Twist top, It is garbage.

I run Carbon and GFO inline liek you plan on doing and i use the TLF 150. Great little reactors for the money

I have an AquaC - mine at least works well. Plenty of room for multiple media, can't see a problem ganging two of them together.
