No, but one of those timers is so cheap t is def worth a shot!! If you end up trying it out, let us know!! =) (I would but am mechanically defunct)

Im gonna give it a shot...i have a few timers just laying around in the closet... I love projects. Ill let you know how it works out.

Ok well i found that getting the casing open without breaking the thing a feat in itself! Once i opened it i then found that not all timers were created equal... This thing seems the same but flipped 90 degrees in order to fit the motor and gearbox in a smaller casing. So i assume that means i just have to flip that guys design 90 degrees to make this work.
Here is what i am talking about the relay is facing perpendicular to the case instead of flat to it so in turn the motor is also flipped to line up with the relay.

Regardless of the flippage the gear setup and removal looks to be the same so GL .
