I miss the Stealers of those years...
Worst Super Bowl ever was the one with Steelers and Cowboys. Those were always my two teams, I was so conflicted. Then I decided to get drunk and watch the game...I cheered every time either team scored and no matter what my team was going to win!

Isn't it funny how the US sports organizations claim "world" championships?

Yes the Jags have won playoff games before.
I dont understand how you Steeler fans can be so optimistic considering that we just beat you a couple of weeks ago in Pittsburgh when you guys had a health Willie Parker. Now you have lost Aaron Smith, Willie Parker, two LT's and a safety. Good luck.

Besides, US sports are basically international at this point anyway, which I personally think is great for sports.

You are making my point! So, for Baseball, why is it a world series when other nations' baseball teams are not invited to compete?
And what makes NFL football a "world championship" when no other nations play football as we do?

As far as football, the fact that as you put it, "no other nations play football as we do," it logically follows that whoever wins our league is the world champion. I am not saying that a greater team could not possibly be assembled on some sort of international level after evaluating and training every soul on earth, but at that point in time, the team that wins the Super Bowl is the worlds best team. At least until the Pro Bowl.
