Circulation Question

I'm getting ready to build up my new system and am wondering what my best choices for circulation would be.

I have a 65 gal display tank that will be drilled with a pair of 1 inch bulkheads and then flow into a 40 gal frag tank in the basement and then into a sump. The water is pumped back upstairs at what I'll estimate to be a rate of 500-600gph after calculating head loss etc.

I already own a 1/2'' SeaSwirl and a Red Sea Wavemaker so my thought it to try and save some money by incorporatiing them into the new design.

The Sea swirl is rated at 550gph so that would work just fine as the single point of return to the tank but I also wonder if I'd be better off splitting the return into 2 lines where one goes to the SeaSwirl and the other goes to a flexible LocLine.

I'm also wondering what I should have for in tank circulation. In the past I've always used MaxiJet's but was looking at the Koralia 3 and wondered if a pair of those might be anough on a 3 foot tank.

Any thoughts or suggestions tht might help me decide would be appreciated.
