I've never used it. Never personally saw a reason to. Seeing the glass get dirty a bit quicker doesn't bother me. As long as the corals look beautiful and grow, why add another variable to my tank.

nop, none at all. Only less phosphate. I have only heard of this product affecting soft corals like leathers.
