recommend 150w de bulb?

I need a new 150 watt double-ended metal halide bulb for my sunpod. This will most likely go over a 24 gallon mixed reef. It will have softies, lps and maybe a couple sps, plus a clam.

What lamp would you recommend? Cost will play a role in my choice. Also, where do you recommend getting it?

Thanks.

I got a nice Ushio 14k bulb for mine over at CRS...

I started out with a 20K and LOVED the colors, but coral growth came to a screeching halt, and nothing grew at all, but looked great, so I went back to the 14K and consider it the best of both worlds

The Radium for the 250W is the best bulb i have used to date. SE

Well, since a picture is worth a thousand words.......I guess I don't have to write that much anymore......man I like having a camera!!! (I was getting sick of that avatar too, I havn't had that piece for nearly a year now)

Pheonix 14K DE 150W over 24g Nano
BTW, I had 150's over my 75g when I first put it up and this was the best bulb I found.

14k Phoenix is what I'm leaning towards as well. Champion Lighting has a sale that ends today. I think I'll just get it from them and take advantage of the sale.

Doug, how long have your clam and anemone been under the 150 watts? Have they done well under that lighting?
