I have one. It's not that great, but it's not terrible either. Mine's not any louder than the fan on my light. And I'm not really sure how it could overflow. I guess the collection cup could, but couldn't any?
I didn't pay even close to $100 for mine, though. If it was between buying one new and paying a little extra for something else, I'd probably go with something else. |

I had one when I first started keeping marine fish. Honestly, I didn't know the difference at the time. For a nano it would probably be pretty sufficient, but they are difficult to clean. IMO.

I thought mine was decent, but after listening to others got the aqua c, now I realized how bad the prism was.

get a octopus hobs, great for the price and very effective right out of the box.

I am looking to get a skimmer for my nanocube 28 (not setup yet). Does anyone know if the octopus would fit? Are they better than the Remoras?
Thanks, |

I had one for 4 years. It did a good job after dialing it in right. But i would get a remora or the octopus HOB
