Salt level a little to high.
I just put water in my tank yesterday, the only problem i'm seeing is that the saltwater level is at about 1.027 is that to high or is it ok?

Replace some salt water with fresh. You may as well get it right from the start. Aim for 1.025-1.026

It's a bit high but nothing to go nuts over. Just do like Matt said or adjust it when you do you next water change.

Also keep in mind if you skim wet then it will come down after time.
1.0265 (35 ppt) is good for coral tanks & many inverts while 1.024-1.025 is good for Fish only. Close is good enough, does not need to be precise.
