Whether or not a skimmer is "good" depends on the bioload of the system you are skimming. How large of a system are you skimming, what is the bioload?

I'm using one on my 90. Light bio load right now, but it skims great with no mods done to it. Do a search and you'll find plenty of modifications that will increase the efficiency.

I had one for about a year on my old 90Gal. and loved it.I didn't do any of the mods and it skimmed great.

I must be doing something wrong. I have the recirculating one and get absolutely no foam. Everyone else loves them.

I have plenty of bio load 125g tank 20g sump, 6" Naso, 6" Blue Hippo, 5" Sailfin, 2 Occ. Clowns, 6 Line Wrasse, 3 Green Chromis, Blue Damsel and a Blenny. I think I will order 1 asap, for the money sounds like a good deal .
Thanks for the posts, Rick |

I thought about the Xtreme , I've been using a Seaclown so anything will be an improvement. Plus 150.00 or so sounds way better than 350.00
