Today's Meeting is ON !!!!

I have had a couple people ask if today's meeting is still on - it is!!!!

We will be having:
Membership registration (most people expire tomorrow night)
Cooler and T-Shirt sales
Bulb orders
Upcoming Events
Secret Santa
Raffle

Raffle which includes:
5 ORA frags donated by Puppy Center
10 Acan frags from Exotic Fish & Coral
Salifert Test Kits
Ocean Master Test Kit
Food
and a few other things

i made out pretty well!! won me some more duncans and an acan. Also got a sweet superman monti and enough snails to feed the peacock mantis for over a month!

How big was that mantis and do you know what species it was? I didnt get to see it. We can set up a play date but i dunno if they will play nicely

lol i think it was a baby peacock, it had the red, and green... not sure if i saw any blue. Yea i know it will be a bad day for Jas's mantis lol...

he was probably 4-5" long and probably 1-1.5" thick

we were pretty sure it wasnt a peacock, but not positive

like Mike said its about 4" and all green. hes been put up temporarily in a state of the art 5 gallon bucket. (nano stream, heater and rock) i'll be setting up his new home later today..... stay tuned!






Craig, want to set up a mantis fight club? lol!

dude that would be sweet!! you have to carve fight club in a soap bar too!!!

do you have a DSB in that state of the art Bucket tank? and how did you put the acrylic viewing slot!!?? it must have been pretty expensive! LOL!!!!

he smashed the crap out of a pipette that i used to move him when i put the rock in. i never knew how loud they could be!

you and jas are going to have to drive down to stonington and help keep the periwinkle population down for them heh. if you put them in the tank they (the snails) probably will mate btw

Cilata is a spearer . Could be a Viridis . But with green and a little red , and it being the most typical my money is on wennerae . Whats the meral spot color Jas ?
