Quarantining multiple fish

Is it safe to quarrantine say 2-3 fish in a 20 gallon. Im looking at qt a flameangel, firefish, and possibly one more on my 20g qt. Is it ok or no? And should I only medicate with copper if I see signs of sickness?

The flame and the firefish should be ok. Depends on what the third is. You can find rubbermaid garbage cans fairly cheaply if you need more room. The "Brute" containers are most durable and will not break. The copper treatment is up to you. It's a good thing to qt them either way. If they show signs of ich, i prefer hyposalinity.

Yes, just make sure there is enough room and hiding places as a key to a good QT tank is to have it be very low stress on the fish.
