Please ID this strange polyp

Picked this up from the LFS the other day. He didn't know what it was and it popped up in his tanks last week. Gave it to me to see what it would grow into. Does anyone know what it is? It's about an inch and a half tall midday.

Thanks!

they can get out of hand very quickly and take over your tank.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I wouldn't want that beauty to sting my corals.
