Question reefkeeper 2 for nano - yea or nea?

i have NC24, and i was really looking to get something to help me out. for instance when my fan is on it can bring my temps way low, but when i turn it off my temps can go way hi...i don't like the idea of things swinging...i work different shifts, some nights, some days. therefore i am not at home on a set schedule to maintain my tank on an hourly routine from day to day. does anybody use this? is it beneficial on such a small tank? i am assuming so since small swings in small tanks can be very troublesome. any experiences with this product and pictures would be AMAZING in helping me make my decision. thanks in advance!!!

I have one. Turns the fan on at 80, off at 79.
Runs the lights, pumps, everything.
Safety feature that shuts off the lights if the temp gets to high has saved me once (Unplugged the fan on accident during a water change).

I have an ACjr. on my 10gal. and really like it. I think a controller is a good idea for any sized tank (w/ the exceptiong here and there).

I have a Reefkeeper 1 and it's the best piece of equipment I've every bought. I'll eventually get the RK2. Just for the light timers it keeps you from having multiple timers, one on top of the other. The RK2 is a combination of timers, wavemaker, temp control, and pH monitor. If you had to buy these things separately, you'd spend a fortune.

Oh, and the feed button is one heck of a convenience.

Ca>480ppm, I'm bringing it down
dKH=9, ok
PO4=0ppm, ideal

1/06/08 after a water change
Ca= 480ppm, still a little high
pH= 8.2, I'd like it at 8.3
NO3= 10ppm, acceptable

i'm running the RK2 in my 25g. it's seriously the best device i've purchased for my tank. no more anxiety about temps, ph swings, light timing, etc.. my only gripe is i wished it had more outlets. i ended up purchasing their expansion slot but that only gives you 1 additional outlet. great product nonetheless.
