FS: 8" Acrylic Tube
I have two acrylic cylinder aquariums that are made 72" tall, 8" diameter, 1/4" thick wall extruded acrylic tube.
The tubes have some scratches as to be expected of used tube, but they still could be used as an aquarium, so they should be just fine for a skimmer or reactor for those not needing perfection. I bought them since they were advertised as 9" cast acrylic... and now I'd like to get them to someone that can use them. UsPlastics sells 1/8" thick 8" extruded tube for $23.31/ft with a 5' minimum here. Their 1/4" thick 8" cast tube for $49.66/ft with a 5' minimum. I'd prefer to sell these locally in one piece so I don't have to cut them. Local pickup price is $100 each I will rough cut them on my table saw and sell them for $25/ft +shipping Shipping will be USPS parcel post, with delivery confirmation and insured for the purchase price. Boxed well with 1" padding all around. 2' shipping cost is $15 3' shipping cost is $25 4' shipping cost is $30 *Alaska and Hawaii will be more. I'm selling 2', 3' or 4' lengths. Total prices per piece: 2'=$65 3'=$100 4'=$130 I am trying to sell as much as possible, so it's not necessarily first come, first served. Meaning if you want 4' and two other people each want 3' I will sell the two 3' pieces first, etc... Paypal is ok as is cash for local pickups. so you have 2 pcs, each pc is 72" tall, 8" diameter, 1/4" thick wall, and you are selling 100 each tube.
how much ship if I bought both tubes ?

you can't just ship them by 72" ? probably over size charge.

I just remeasured and the tubes are actually 77" tall(5" more than I thought)
 Also one end has a 1.5" thick acrylic base glued on that I could cut off or leave on(extra weight=extra shipping though). Anything over 48" gets to be oversize shipping I think. That and it'd leave me with a small piece that would be hard to sell. |
