You basically cut off the cap or piece of the cap with a sharp pair of scissors. The coral may juice a lot so you may want to remove it from the tank to do this or do a partial water change after making the cut. The frag will work best it the portion of cap used has some stalk tissue. Cut the cap or part of the cap into small pieces. With the polyp side up, attach the small pieces to a plug with either a rubberband or some super glue gel and some netting. The cuttings should grow.
