I've fired mine up in the last week and added live rock and fish (from another tank) as of monday and WOW. I did the the gatevalve mod and drilled the volute to near nothing including a 1/4 inch air intake from the stock. This thing rocks, I'm wondering if anybody has drilled for a remote drain and if so did you go with the bottom of the collection cup or the side and if so what has that done for you

btw skimmate is on the dry side so I'm not looking for a big flow but an easier cleanup
