Arrow octopus

I plan on buying an octopus recirculating 150 skimmer. I've heard some of them are not built the same. I've heard that some of the pumps are not the same.

Is the pump the only difference?
What are the different pump brands, which is better, and why?

Your best bet would be to contact a distributor to ask the difference. www.octopusskimmer.com has contact info, but I'm not sure if they will reply. For what it's worth, i have the NW-150 and I love it (unmodded).

What feed pump do you use on your nw-150? I have one, and am not too happy with it. I use a mj 900. it is unmodified.
