Those of us who only contributed the $5 shipping...how would you like to receive the additional?

Add another to the paid list and a tiny bit less in shipping for all.
I have not finalized the order, bluezoo is out today, I would like to talk with them about the order,as well as the option to pick up at the FEDEX station instead of my home. Will keep you all posted.
Merry Christmas,
Chris

Chris - Many of the inverts that were on the Blue Zoo sale page are no longer there. I assume that means they are out of stock. If that's true, it will really mess up the order.

I could not agree more, I have messeges into them, they are not open until 10 am pacific time.
As you saw, they appear to be out of over half of the items we have ordered, and many of the prices have changed as well.
I will update as soon as I speak with someone at bluezoo.

I too was wondering the same thing, as only two of the items I wanted are shown in stock and still on sale. The rest are out of stock and not on sale any longer. Thank you Chris for trying to get this figured out. I'll be waiting for the update.

Sorry for the late news, I had to go into work at 10:30 this morning and just got home. I did get in touch with Mike today, I wanted to speak with him rather than someone else since he has been very helpful throughout. Every time I called he was on the other line, and he finally reached me at work.
So, bad news, more bad news, some good news, and some more good news...
Bad #1, no delivery tomorrow, they were overwhelmed with orders, and were calling many with news of delay.
With the bad weather coming they probably would not have shipped anyway, thinking of the animals, and the poor care they receive if they are delayed he said.
Bad # 2 They really are out of a great many things we wanted.
He said they were able to offer those great deals, because they had arranged for some great pricing on their end, when they were gone, so were the good prices.
Good news, I had already spoken to him several times through this process, and was thankful that I had. I explained to him that a partial order and one with different prices than agreed upon was not going to go over well. He was very understanding, and offered to fill our order to the fullest as soon as possible, but stated this would not be done in a couple of days. I went with what I though the group consensus would be, and told him it was better to receive a full order of quality items rather than a partial that was rushed with just anything they could fill a bag with. He said if we could give him a week or two he would have his sales manager see to it personally.
Good news # 2, He will also give us everything at the previous sale price. He said, Even though he was out of the items he had paid less for, they would figure out a way to get them to us at the lower rate.
I explained that I would pass on the news and get back to him a revised list to allow for anyone to back out and collect their money. He told me the sooner the better to get him the list, so I would like to hear from each of the people who are part of the group buy.
Please PM me or post a reply here if you would like to get a refund, or proceed.
I welcome any questions or comments,
Chris

Given the dollar amount of the total order, pricing shouldn't be a problem for them (or any vendor). As long as the 'sale' prices are being honored, then I'm still good to go.

The weather is supposed to be nicer after New Years anyway.

Cool Rob,
I was kinda looking forward to meeting you and the others, as well as checking out the skimmers.

I'm still in! Just give me a couple of days notice and I will be there to pick up my items. At least we won't have to worry about this snow storm...

Kudo's to you and BlueZoo. Like I said in my post in your other thread, BlueZoo has great customer service. I did not get in on this order because I had a feeling you would be overwhelmed and did not trust mother nature this time of year no matter what my savings. However, I will still buy from BlueZoo in the future. I am glad Mike is taking care of your order, he has done a great job for me in the past. Great job in taking care of the local reefers Chris!

I'm good for whatever direction works best for the group and for BlueZoo...

I only have one concern. I'll be out of town quite a bit during January and may not be available to receive. I can wait to see planned shipment dates (if you need a firm commitment now then I'd understand being canceled.)

Is the new order locked in to just those people who originally ordered? Or is it open to new orders?

Not only is this new large tank teaching me more than I ever would have believed about plumbing, lighting, carpentry, electrical, chemistry and biology, it is above all teaching me.......... patience!

I am still in as long as they are holding the sale pricing, and the delivery date works out for me.

THANKS Chris!

So far everyone is in,
I have no problem working around your schedule Dodger. Since most of the items being ordered are fairly simple to keep, I could just keep them in my quarantine tank until you can pick up.
I am not heading out of town anytime soon.
Chris
