Hey I saw those at a reef meeting in Cincinatti Ohio. I thought it was awesome till I heard the price was in the 4 digit range. It was to rich for my blood, but it was still awesome. I just wish I could have seen it in action,

The thing was about 24 inches in diameter and about 4 feet tall.

Ok, promising not to steal this thread....Yes, I think its sexy too, I wish it was going on my 180, maybe later, actually its going on a 270 I'm building, and the fact that yes its in the 4digit range prolly much later, it was like 140 just to ship the friggin thing, its rated for a heavy stocked 400gal the one mary is talking about is in the high 4 digit range 7ish, I'm hoping I get to add the self cleaning/flushing head too! Its a mere 1200ish more but you only have to touch the skimmer once every few months with it! And with that mr AThrice, I'm done. Just thought u might like that.

lols Nice thread startup. Looks like you'll have a quality setup once you get it all aligned. I'm glad I didn't fork out all that cash so quickly when I started up. I'd rather NOT know exactly how much my lil set up has cost me. .

If it were me I'd put some more support under those 2x4's.
That tank will be around 2,450 lbs once fullof water alone.
Ditch the galvinized fasteners too, those will rust.
Spending all that money on all the Tunze stuff but skimpping on the stand HUH

I don't mean to flame you in any way, or be disrespectful, but take your time and think things thru.

Just my $.02 BTW

Looks like a sweet setup a_thrice! Even the sump gets an electonircally controlled Tunze. Have you decided on a skimmer?

Jimbo - Can't wait to hear how you like the SCH if you go that route.

A_Thrice with your stand so TIGHT! Wont you join our chat tomorrow night?

We have a billion questions I'm sure! This is hands down the coolest stand build I have ever seen, thanks for sharing it with us all.

It would appear there is no skimping anywhere in this build, amazing!

Ok I'll bite. What would you do differently? The only reason I care is because I'm having a stand built in a few weeks as well and would like to hear any ideas.
