Phosban Reactor in tandum
I have recently added two reactors to my system. I was wondering if I should run them together?Drawing the water to the Rowa carbon first then the Rowa Phospate sponge back to the sump. Has anyone done it this way and does it make sense? Also what size pump should I use to run both reactors together

I think that if you can plumb them together, then do it. Then you only need to run one pump.
Also, I have read that you should plumb them phos first, carbon second since the phos media can give up some elements that the carbon will catch - not sure though.

It depends on the media you put in each one. I'm running two reactors, one with GFO the other with Purigen. The Purigen is much more buoyant than the GFO; if I chain them together, the right amount of flow for the GFO has the other reactor pumping Purigen slurry out into the sump. Dialing back to the right amount of flow for the Purigen means not enough for the GFO -- thus, two pumps.
If I was running GFO and Carbon, I could chain them together. Resin media is just too light, ime.

For my 29 I have then chained together, carbon in the first one, and phosban in the second.
Been running that way for about 6 months now, works like a champ. Here is a picture.

You can also run a "Y" fitting off the one pump to each reactor. This way you can run different water flow to each reactor using the supplied ball valve.

Thanks Todd. What size pump are you running?? Do you put the media in bags before putting it in the reactor?

It is a smaller Maxi Jet, want to say the 400.
Nope, no media bags used at all. But the media in the reactor directly -- that is the way it is designed to work.
