Ppe

Do they like high light? Lots of flow? Or are they just like normal palys?

I have mine on the sand in a 36'' tall tank, with 400w and 250w MH and med flow. They seem to like where they are, I have been getting a new polyp or so a month

So with small colonys you will have a growth rate of 1 poylp per month. So if I keep braking them up in about 6 months you can start having about 1 per week. Not bad. Thanks for the info.

I agree 1 a week is prob. to fast for PPE's I would be guessing more in the range of 1 polyp every 3 weeks. until your colony gets up past 10 or so then maybe 2-3 polyps every 3 weeks.

That is what I was saying. (or ment to say) Once I get a bigger colony I would get maybe one a week. or like you said 2-3 every 3 weeks. I think I have a Headake now haha.

Sorry, what I said is hard to understand. (probley wrote this late at night because I dont really understand it either)

What I ment to say is as the colonys grow I will keep fragging them into small colonys. That way I will have maybe 6 small colonyes. So that will be 6 babys a month. That = 1.5 a week. If they are happy and so on.

It is late so someone else say this how it needs to be said if you even understand what I am trying to say. Been a long day haha.
