Hello,

this should explain a little bit:

I have already seen and tried the system. Basically, you can program ANY wave profile or pump speed for up to 8 pumps per simulator. The simulator can read different information out of the RDII such as speed, errors, temperature of the controller and so on. There is an alarm going of if a pump doesn´t work correctly due to something stuck in it or power failure and all that. You can attach a light sensor to it and all profiles can be lowered at night for saving energy and reducing stress. There is also a random function, in which you just have to set the maximum allowed output, and then all programmed pumps are working totally random. Klaus told me, he will post a short movie soon.

Concerning the prices: there is an online store at www.royal-exclusiv.de - but you have spent a lot for a system with 8 pumps But as far as I am concerned, I ordered 2 pumps with simulator, these should be big enough for my 1200l tank. I think, there is no alternative to this system !

I will show pictures as soon as my new tank has been delivered, should be next week. Maybe just ask questions in the royal-exclusiv forum, they should be able to read and answer in english

No alternative, eh? I wonder what everyone has been doing then? Lol. Im all ears though. I like being able to program each pump on its own.

Well, I think there is no alternative: In example, my new tank will have 2 RDII 16000 in a closed loop system. For moving the same amount of water with the same speed, i would have to use at least 6-8 Tunze Streams 30000. I have seen the RDII running and there is nothing comparable in power to this. Besides, if you compare a stream 12000 to a RDII, and you adjust it to the same output power, it uses the same power consumption - still being capable of putting a lot more water movement into the tank.
Believe me, i will show pictures soon !

Anything Klaus does is of interest. How would one plumb to use this? Any chance on a powerhead system using this?
