congrats on the new additions! but... are you planning to upgrade? A show size achilles is actually to big for a 175. they are very very fast fish and need a ton of room. 3 nasos will quickly grow out of a 110 as well... these fish get 14" and up...

not to dampen the excitement, just a friendly reminder

I think you guys misinterpreted what he is saying. His sig. says he has a 240g tank. I think those are the prices he paid for the fish. Just give them lots of flow and they'll be fine.

Ya i run a 240 gallon tank (actually 400 gals in total) with tons of flow. the hippos are regals. I only have about 7 fish all small chromis, damsel, six line wrasse.... I thought an addition would be ideal.. I've been looking for a custom 400 gal tank... Thnxs jmccown your right on the button. I think i got a good deal..

here's mine, and a pic of my naso

Mine's doing well, swims fast and all over...must be liking it. He's nibbled on some nori, though just fed some now and he didn't eat. No worries yet. Post a pic of your when you get it. Mine was from Hawaii too.

Man, those fish are good looking....may need to get a bigger tank in the future and get one of those. I think I should setup the 150 first, since I have premission for that one. Then later on show these fish to the wife and tell her we need a bigger tank, that way I can have 2 tanks.

ohh! Im sorry i misread it, and for some odd reason i read hippo as "naso".. lol must have been late

most achilles in the hobby come from Hawaii (probably 90%+)

nice fish!
