How much are snails at aquatic central?

I'm going to be restocking my clean up crew and I was wondering how much they are selling their snails for. I usually go to 6th ave for snails but after the last time I good nuked.

Try calling them and Oceans Treasure. I think they get fresh inventory weekly on their cleanup crew.

yeah call them. I have to say though, the snail/hermits at AC are normally cheaper than prices you see online. Make sure you aclimate them very slowly. If you don't if will have empty shells with in a few weeks.

The only snails that I buy are the trochus snails because I've had the best luck with them. I still have a couple that I bought from a batch over a year ago.

tiger trochus / blackfooted trochus can flip themselves. I heard the white trochus aren't that great at it =/

nassarius snails can also flip.

Turbos also can right them selves up but are bulldozers of coral frags though.. but great algae scrubbers. But I'd go with trochus or tiger trochus snails....

I second (triple, quadruple) the trochus. Truly great snails!

Astraeas are OK, but 80% of them will die due to flipping. Cerith snails are good, but are total victims if you have hermit crabs. Mexican turbos are great and will eat that horrible pink fluffy algae, but as mentioned...are bulldozers!

Trochus are IMO, the best, but LFS know this and charge up to $3 per snail. Astraeas you can get much cheaper. (but what good are they if they die off!

go to dolphin in Campbell, it's worth the drive. They're even cheaper than online. I got 36 medium blue legs for $25. Their other stuff is ok, but they're great for cleanup crews
