How dependable is that temperature probe? I'm wondering how long they last for, I hear there's only a 2 month warranty on them...

I have had mine for 1 1/2 years and never had a problem. Every couple months I wipe it off and that is it!

Mine is brand new, so no experience. But right after I ordered mine, I saw a thread where some members are having problems with their temp probes needing to replaced every 6 months.

Warning was don't let the probe get caught under anything or the tip kinked.

2 years and counting for mine. My PH probe, on the other hand, lasted 1 year before it broke. It was my fault, because I placed it too close to the pump.
