Great food except i wish i wasn't being good and had eaten some of the desserts. damn.

Ray- the urchins are doing great. i was worried because when i got them home i could barely see the urchins in the containers because the water looked like milk. i think they must have spawned. i think the water temp got down into the 60's over the day.

anyway they seem fine so far and are moving all over the tank.

Glad to hear they are doing good. I do not know if they ever spawned in the 400 being it's such a big tank it would not be noticable.

Just wanted to send out a big thank you to MASVC for hosting the swap. Had a great time, it's been a few years since I've attended a swap.

Also, a HUGE thank you to all of you that purchased/traded frags with me! Great meeting all of you and putting faces with RC names. Hope to see all of you soon...

Tommy,

In an effort to appease the vendors, with regards to the onsite ATM, your suggestion will be seriously considered for the next swap .

Look what I scored. And I DIDN'T even go Ahhh.........the marvels of modern technology......beam it to me Scotty.......LOL

Well, it wasn't really that simple. Kirk (dodofish) and I have been talking about this tort for like months now. But because of our busy work schedules, we never did work out the time to do the pick up. Well, in steps Richard (wishntoboutside), who made the trek out to Ventura from Riverside, no less, and facilitated the transfer of said coral into my hands. So a big thanks to Kirk for holding it and Richard for making the trek. Kirk told me that this colony was like volleyball sized. I think he must have been playing with his kid's volleyballs

I think we saw that thing change hands. I believe if you tested the water in that bucket you would see it was 2 parts seawater and 1 part drool.

Ben, you got a frag? You will be coming to Thursday's meeting right? RIGHT?

BTW: For those interested, we are having our monthly MASVC meeting at Baja Fresh in Ventura:

--== December MASVC Meeting ==--
When: Thursday December 6th @ 6:30pm
Where: Baja Fresh in Ventura (in the Mervyns Shopping Center)
4726 Telephone Rd
Ventura, CA 93003

We will be discussing the swap of course, some thoughts about the next swap(s) in 2008, and what else we might have planned for the coming year.

We'd love to see you there!
